(3) Offensive Unselfishness 
- the open man gets the shot 
(4) Trust the Process
- just do what you are supposed to do, when its time to do it
- be present 
(5) Build a Ventilation System
- everyone in the program will need to vent. it is human. 
- funneling this human fact in a positive direction is the key. 
(5) Recruit Length
- find the longest wingspans with the most defensive ability and potential to develop skill possible

Search "rebounding" and than work backwards. 

Search "ast/to" and than work backwards.

- You need 8 Players with length

- You need 8 Players that can defend 

- You need 4 of those players to rebound

- You need 4 of those players to protect the ball 

- You need 2 of those rebounders to shoot

- You need 2 of those rebounders to score in the paint

- You need 2 of those ballhandlers to shoot 

- You need 2 of those ballhandlers to score in the paint 

- If one of you ballhandlers can really play out of ballscreens, you are golden

- ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR EIGHT, YOU DEVELOP THE 50

- Get them mentally a 10/10

- Get them physically a 10/10

- Get their fundamentals a 10/10

- Get their reads a 10/10 

- Get them to be a 10/10 teammate

  • That when you give to the pack, the pack also gives to you
  • Second, is buying into your role... 
  • each member needs a role that is valued by the team and is also actively validated
  • Everyone is a star within their role
  • Third, is the teams “vent”ilator...
  • Everyone is going to vent. We need to make sure the right people are getting vented to
  • Create the time for players to vent. Control this narrative.
  • Players in fight or flight play worse. They must feel protected

(4) Must recruit OUR guys

  • guys with length, who can defend and can see the floor
  • Everything else can be developed 


(5) Must have a goal

  • is to win the championship
  • And graduate
  • *** the staff must manage grades
