- The goal is to fully trust self-2
- This means specifically, total immersion into the present moment
- Full trust of yourself and your instincts
PART 2: ACCEPTING SELF-1
- To get to full trust of self-2, you must reconcile with all of the machinations of self-1
- The past; seeing the past for what it is and dealing with your own judgments about it (failure is feedback, victory is validation)
- The future; balancing expectations with the reality of the unknown (I hope I do great, vs I am great)
- Understanding fight or flight. Why are my thoughts the way they are? What is their purpose? Seeing them as a river
- Imagery. imagine yourself playing
- Goal setting.
