Mixer Teaching

Mixer Intro:

(1) We use screens to create the advantage 
(2) We use the mixer to maintain an advantage

Paint Reads:
(1) late = score it
(2) in = play to skillset
(3) front = jump stop kickout

Passing: 
One to do, one not to do.. 
(1) On target passes
(2) No charges

Lane Countermovement:
*break the elbows and form the halo
(1) Maintain double gaps
(2) Post Relocation

Middle Countermovement:
(1) Post Relocation
(2) Euro Cut = move towards the ball

Exit Cuts:
(1) If they shoot, get to your rebounding position
(2) if they hold it, or one more it, or get into an action, exit weakside
(3) if they drive it, you can replace their spot

5 Out Shootout:
(1) One ball, one shot
(2) Halfcourt
(3) Finish the play, pass to coach (me)
(4) Everyone fill a new spot, including the dunker spot

Progression 1A = Lane or Middle Drive to Rebounding Position
(1) Walk through the lane line drive
- two to the glass
- one to the nail
- a halfback and a fullback

Progression 2A = Lane or Middle Drive to One More Pass
(1) Walk through the one mores and weakside exits
- let it happen

Progression 3A = Lane or Middle Drive to Second Penetrations
(1) Walk through the over the top exit and weakside kickup
(2) Walk through the drag 3 euro cut from 4
(3) Walk through the go and catch

Progression 1B=  Wing Middle or Wing Baseline to rebounding position
(1) Walk through the middle drive euro cut
(2) Walk through the baseline drive 45 cut and window shop and post t-up

Progression 2B = Wing Middle or Wing Baseline to one more pass

Progression 3B = Wing Middle or Wing Baseline to Second Penetration
